Diane S. Wahl

Diane S. Wahl, 78, of Clyde, OH passed away on August 22, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH.  She was born on March 10, 1943 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Rine) Schatt.  She was a 1961 graduate of Clyde High School.  Diane married Daniel Wahl on August 3, 1963 in Clyde, OH and he survives.  She was a bus driver for Clyde Green Springs Schools for thirty years until she retired in 2008.  She enjoyed camping and reading.  Diane loved to spend time with her family and friends and was known for always willing to help them when in need.

Diane is survived by her husband Daniel Wahl, Clyde; son, Dana Wahl, Dennison, TX; daughter, Denise (Dennis) Ruffing, Green Springs, OH; sister, Mary Lou (Michael) Bordner, Green Springs, OH; grandchildren, Amanda Wahl, Rae Ann Wahl, Aaron Johnson, J.J. Miller, Danielle Ruffing and Rachel Ruffing; seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a funeral ceremony to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.

Memorials can be made to Stein Hospice or the family.

Burial will take place at Bakertown Cemetery at a later date.
