Deborah K. Stratton

Stratton Debrah

Deborah K. Stratton, 69, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born August 30, 1951 in Fremont, the daughter of Vernon “Jr” and Jealea M. (Holt) King. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Deborah married Leroy Stratton on November 23, 2001 in Fremont and he survives. She was a seamstress at Spieldenner’s for many years until they closed.

Deborah was a member of Victory Church and enjoyed sewing, eating out and loved spending time with friends and family. She loved her dogs, Dash and Kaylee.

Deborah is survived by her husband of twenty years, Leroy Stratton, Fremont, OH; children, Dave (Angela) Saam, Clyde, OH, Dorran Saam of North Carolina; stepchildren, Mandy (Jay) Sheehan and Leroy Stratton, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lisa Saam; siblings, Terry King, Cindy (Dale) Stout and Cheryl (Larry) Bruggeman, all of Fremont, OH; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Doug Saam; brother, Wayne King; sisters-in-law, Karen King and Gladys King.

Private service were held for the family.

Memorials can be made to Victory Church.

    Debbie and I were good friends in school, always had a great personality and we had fun together. Have only saw her once since we moved back to Fremont but we had a nice visit. R.I.P. Debbie, you will be missed.

    Leroy so sorry to hear about Deb! She was always so full of fun! I loved her smile and laugh! I always enjoyed sitting with you two on Wednesday nights in church! Now she is with Jesus and her son! Praying for you and your family!

    So sorry to hear of Deb’s passing . I went to school with her at Riley Township elementary school and years later continued friendship with her at Victory Church. May God’s peace be with you and all your family during this time and in the days to come. Sending our love and prayers.
