
Dean Allen Sherman, 67, of Fremont, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 23,2023. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Dean had a great sense of humor and a fun and spirited soul. His smile and laugh were infectious to everyone around him. He found joy in being with his family and playing with his four granddaughters. Dean was born on March 14,1956 in Tiffin, Ohio to Kenneth and Juanita (Kime) Sherman. He lived with his three older siblings, Connie, Tom, and Brad.
In 1974 he graduated from Clyde High School. Dean was currently employed at Whirlpool Corporation of Clyde for the past forty-five years. He was set to retire after a fulfilling career in June of this year. In his spare time Dean was a member of the VFW and the Moose in Clyde and was also governor of the Moose for a time. He enjoyed golfing with his son and close friends. He loved to read and was passionate about History.
He is survived by his children Deneil (Brian) Loftus of Lake Orion, Michigan, and Derek (Brittany) Sherman of Clyde, Ohio, grandchildren; Audra and Ameila Loftus, and Micayla and Belle Sherman; siblings; Connie (Dave) Carrothers of Republic, Ohio, Tom (Micki) Sherman of Green Springs, Ohio, and sister-in-law Linda Sherman of Athens, Tennessee, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dean is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Juanita Sherman (Wadsworth), stepfather Art Wadsworth, and brother Brad Sherman.
Dean will be forever missed. His family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on June 10, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH.
