David M. Brink

David M. Brink, 69, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on October 1, 1951 in Fremont to James “Jim” R. and Eva “Pauline” (McDonald) Brink. Dave worked at Whirlpool and retired after forty years of service. After retirement he enjoyed raising animals fulltime. He donated, literally, gallons of blood to the Red Cross throughout his life, along with his eyes in death so that others may have the gift to see.

Dave is survived by his sons, Jeremy (America) Brink, Maumee, OH, Josh Brink, Fremont, OH; siblings, Jane Holmes, Mechanicsburg, OH, Lana (Bill) Hardy, Fremont, OH, John “Frank” (Gail) Brink, Green Springs, OH, Judy (Chuck) Littlejohn, Bettsville, OH; grandsons, David and Derek Brink, three dogs, four guineas, the last remaining handful of chickens and many, many friends. It’s easy to make friends when you’re honest and laidback. Dave was known for his integrity and easy attitude.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ashley Brink and brother, James “Pork” Brink.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

A Graveside Service will he held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, OH.
