I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a dear friend and I will miss him greatly. I will always treasure the time we had together growing up in Fremont along with the great times we enjoyed during our adult years. Dave was such a kind, considerate and generous person who brought smiles to everyone. My life and I am sure countless others, was made better by having Dave as a friend. I will forever miss his smile, his laugh, and the memories we shared together. May God’s grace and mercy cover Dave in eternity.
    Love, Jeff and Mindy Wise

    My dear dear friend,
My heart breaks that Dave is gone. Always smiling Dave, no matter what was going on with him, he could whip out that smile! You were the perfect couple!

Janice, I know the last few years were difficult with his health issues but never think for a minute that you didn’t do enough and should have done more as we all sometimes feel. I watched you care for him and you did so with so much love!

This video shows the love you two had for each other. I have been blessed to know you both for all these years.

God bless you, Jason, Nicole, the grandkids and the whole Longanbach family! He will be missed by everyone who knew him!

He is without pain and rejoicing in his perfect body and you will rejoice with him again one day! Treasure those memories and keep them in your heart, you two had an amazing ride together!

    Love you always,
    Suzi Crist Janic

Dear Longanbach Family; I am so sorry for your huge loss at the passing of an excellent friend. I sincerely hope your memories sustain you in this very sad time. Dave and I became good friends as teenagers and athletes; he at Fremont and myself at Woodville. We had good times going to East Harbor State Park with a group of guys. Dave was a very hard worker with a magnetic smile and a down to earth and very kind disposition. I have never forgotten Dave and will always have the utmost respect for him. Dave was a prince of a guy. Sincerely, Les Stair Lt Col USAF (Retired) Tucson, AZ
