
Darnell L. McDonald, 41, of Garfield St, Fremont, OH went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Bellevue Hospital. He was born on April 17, 1971 in Fremont, the son of Orie and Aserlean (Lindsey) McDonald. He was a 1990 graduate of Fremont Ross High School where he played football.
Darnell worked at Whirlpool Corporation as an Assembler for nine years until he became disabled. He then worked at Goodwill Industries for five years. Darnell attempted to pursue a professional music career until he became ill.
He was a member of First Baptist Missionary Church where he played music in the church choir. Darnell enjoyed working on cars and stereos and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved spending time with his sons and family.
Darnell is survived by his parents, Orie and Aserlean McDonald; children, Jalen and Javon McDonald; siblings, Kevin McDonald, Devona McDonald, Erica (Michael) Williams, all of Fremont, OH; former wife, Marsha Garcia, Fremont, OH; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Ora Dee Lindsey; Manuel and Lillie Mae McDonald.
Visitation: Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Wednesday, March 13, 2013, 11:00 am at First Baptist Missionary Church, with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church, 1699 Dickinson St, Fremont, OH. Pastor William Holmes will officiate.

Wow just found this sad news on the internet Darnell dis music with me in Detroit. He was a very beautiful and talented person.When i was with Death Row Records gome of snoop dogg and Dr.Dre he came to visit and share my experiences wish i knew he was sick this hurts…his work on my album Originazed Kaos will never be forgotten the song was called Hey Lady and his voice was golden on that song…gone to soon RIP my friend!!
