
Darleta G. Conley, 66, formerly of Fremont, OH and currently residing in Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on February 26, 1949 in Jamboree, KY, the daughter of Rev. Charles and Alice (Hatfield) Belcher. She was a 1967 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and received an Associate Degree in Medical Assistance from Davis College.
Darleta married Casey Conley on January 20, 1968 in Fremont and he survives. She was a Homemaker and a very active member of Fremont Church of God where she played piano and held many positions, including, Sunday School Teacher, Clerk, and Youth Leader. She was also a member of two Gospel groups, the Gabriels and Prophets Reward.
Darleta is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Casey Conley; children, Carey DaLee Conley and Corey DaLyn Conley, all of Toledo, OH; sister-in-law, Teresa Belcher, Fremont; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Belcher and sister, Charleen Belcher.
Visitation: Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Tuesday, February 2, 2016; 11:00 a.m. at Fremont Church of God, 300 S Park Ave., Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Rev. Roger Turpin and Rev. Gene Paul will be co-officiating.

It was an honor to be Casey & Darleta Conley’s pastor for 7 yrs. in Fremont. Darleta was such an encouragement to my wife and I. We loved her dearly. She was a wonderful woman of God! She gave every task her very best, and she let her light shine brightly for Jesus! She had a contagious smile that just brightened the room whenever she came in. Her cards and letters were such a blessing! She was a great blessing to our church and family, and we will truly miss her, but, we look forward to that great reunion day!
