Daphne Lynn Harris, 50, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. She was born on April 5, 1965 in Fremont, the daughter of Charles and Mattie Ruth (Scott) Harris. She graduated from Fremont Ross High School.

Daphne enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Daphne is survived by her children, Charvis (Destinee) Holifield, Las Vegas, NV, Dameka McKinstry and Chareese (Robert) Sanchez both of Fremont, OH; father, Charles Harris, Toledo, OH; brothers, Kenneth Harris and Michael Thomas both of Fremont, OH; best friend, Janet Cooks, Fremont, OH; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Ruth Harris and sister, Cynthia Harris.

Visitation: Tuesday from 10 to Noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH

Service: Tuesday, September 15, 2015; Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Lorna McKinstry officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery

    To the Harris Family……Death of a loved one is not easy. (Trust me I know with the recent passing of my Mother) Just wanted you to know as your tears flow now…this too shall pass and you will take great comfort in knowing that while she is absent from your family, she is in the presence of the Lord.     I went to middle school with Daphne. She was a sweet girl. Had some fun times with her. Sorry for the familys loss. Rest in peace Daphne.
