Danielle “Dani” A. Dodson

Danielle “Dani” A. Dodson, 43, of Fremont, OH passed away on January 7, 2023 at her home.  She was born on October 31, 1979 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Juan Rodriguez and Kimberly (Lopez) Orwig.  Dani was a 1999 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and Vanguard-Sentinel Career & Technology Center.  Dani married Joseph Dodson on August 2, 2002 in Fremont, OH and he survives.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking especially loved her mint cakes. She also enjoyed taking photos, scary movies, garage sales and watching crime shows.

Dani is survived by her husband, Joseph Dodson, Fremont; children, Austin Pollard, Cierra Pollard, McKayla Dodson, Rylee Dodson and Joie Dodson all of Fremont; mother and step-father, Kimberly and Clark Orwig, Lindsey; father and step-mother, Juan and Jodi Rodriguez, Fremont; granddaughters, Taylor and Joselle Pollard; siblings, Megan (Rickie) Lopez, Rossford, OH and Zach Flores, Clyde, OH; best friend, Janiece Brown, Port Clinton and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and God-children.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Judith Raifsnider; mother-in-law, Diana Clark and her beloved dog, Nikkita Dodson.

Visitation: Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.  Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
