
Daniel Mariscal, 53, of Fremont, OH passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home. He was born in Fremont, OH on December 2, 1960 to Basilio “Poncho” and Virginia (Guerrero) Mariscal, Sr. Dan was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Dan was currently working for Whirlpool as a Press Transfer for thirty years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dan enjoyed the lake, fishing, camping, traveling and being surrounded by family and friends. Dan loved spending time with his love, Jill.
Dan is survived by his companion, Jill Adams, Clyde, OH; mother, Virginia Mariscal, Baltimore, OH; siblings, Christina Moreno, Fremont, OH, Leonardo (Patricia) Mariscal, Baltimore, OH; sister-in-law, Juanita Mariscal, Fremont, OH; step children, Jamie (Renee) Adams, Fostoria, OH, Jessica Adams, Sandusky, OH, Jace (Colette) Adams, Gardiner, NY, Jefferson Adams, Clyde, OH, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Esteban Mariscal, Sr. and Basilio Mariscal, Jr.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 10:30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH with Fr. Kenneth Lill officiating. There will be an hour of visitation prior to mass at the church.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery

“We’ve known Danny for many years being that his sister was part of our family, we grew in life together along with all the family,we have all had our ups and downs in life,lately more downs than ups for him but somehow everytime I saw him he always had a smile on his face, a hug and a kiss on the cheek, glad to see each other, which wasn’t often,funny how at the the time we don’t think we’re never going to see this person again,looking back, wish we had said more,done more,been there more,..lesson learned..you will be missed my friend, may you rest in heaven with your dad and brothers..
