I didn’t know Dan very well but I saw him every day first thing in the morning at work. He always went out of his way to make some sort of small talk and ask about my family, my weekend or that Notre Dame game. He always seemed so selfless and just generally interested and nice in what everyone had to say.
I’m thankful that I got to know him as he was as genuine and kind as they come. Thanks for being so positive all the time and thank you for your service Dan. You’ll be missed.

Just was talking to Dan last week. I knew him from Fenner where he worked on one of the machines I checked out Quarterly. We used to spend some time every time I was there and talk sports and what was happening at the plant. Going miss him.

My sister, (Vickie Tusing) and I are so very sorry for the loss to your family. While it has been years since we have seen him, we both vividly remember the fun times we had while growing up on Franklin St. and being friends with both Dan and Doug! Oh the fun summers at the neighbors houses! Dan was such a happy fun guy and hard not to love. Enjoy and treasure the wonderful memories a family creates and keep with you all your years to come!

May the Lord bless and watch over you at the loss. of your son. I went to school with Dan. he was a nice and funny and generous guy. funny cause at times to me he looked like a quiet and shy boy but once you got him. talking – he would talk and he always had a wonderful laugh. Since we all graduated from school it seemed that everybody took off and went in all directions. Dan will be missed greatly.
