Oh, my heart aches for all who loved Crystal. She was such a smart young girl. I remember her as she was in my classroom as a fifth grader. She knew everything that was going on around her. She knew how to have fun. She had a tender heart she tried often to hide. I am so sorry for her family. There isn’t a better family in the world, or as loving. I always told my friends that if there was ever a disaster I wanted to live by the Olloms. They know how to be content, make the most memories in life, and have fun. There are few places I left my son, after he was born, when I needed a sitter in a pinch…theirs was one. There is so much love at home. May the love and grace of our heavenly Father hold Crystal in the shadow of His wings; may He hold the Ollom family and those who loved Crystal in perfect peace. Love to all…

Jim & Nancy, I just read Crystal’s obit. in the paper. I truly grieve your loss. All I can say is, Crystal is at peace today. Cherish those early years, as her parents. And know, we will all be reunited. Sincerely, Steve Slane.
