
Connie L. Claypool, 64, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. She was born on July 7, 1951 in Pickens, SC, the daughter of Calvin F. Bagwell and Doris M. (Blanton) Butler. She attended Milford High School.
Connie married Richard Claypool on January 8, 1983 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2013. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed gambling, going to casinos and playing bingo.
Connie is survived by her sons, Shannon (Virginia) Bahnsen, Jacksonville, FL, Bill Wert of Switzerland; mother, Doris M. Butler and siblings, Tim Barham, Daphne Hinzman and Rhonda Lemke, all of Michigan; grandchildren, Tamra Bahnsen, Koltin and Gracelynn Bodle; nephews David Hubbard, Corey Bodle and Baylee Trautman.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Richard Claypool; twin sister, Carol Albig and nephew Jerry Hubbard.
Visitation: Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Memorial Service: Sunday, May 22, 2016, 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial: Monday, May 23, 2016, 2:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.
