Just a little over a week ago I took a couple of my grandchildren to visit my grandma at Bethesda. My 17 month granddaughter kept running in and out of grandma’s room. Each time I would hear Connie talking to her and laughing. As we left my granddaughter said bye bye and gave Connie a hug. When I saw her obituary online, as we do not live in Fremont, I felt the need to share my little story and also give my deepest condolences. I will continue to lift her family in prayer as you mourn her loss.

To the Marroquin family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mom. I was fortunate to call her my madrina of confirmation. I will forever hear her beautiful voice and laughter and feel the biggest hug that could be given. As I watched the video that you put together, I was struck with the fact of how truly amazing your mom was. She raised you all singlehandedly from a young age and raised some amazing kids. I know her faith was a big part of her life and that faith is what sustained her throughout her life. May you all receive God’s peace and rest in the knowledge that your beloved mother is in His loving arms. My sister Maria also wanted to extend her condolences from her family as well. Love you all and God bless you all.

I just came across this and was saddened to hear about Connie’s passing. My parents loved, adored and respected her so much and as kids we were always at her house. She was like the mafia Godmother always giving my dad advice. She was very tough and and amazing and my dad always said how admired and respected she was at their work at Moore Business Forms. I believe she was always looking after my dad at that work because she had more years there. Everyone should have a Connie Marroquin in their life. God bless her wonderful children who also taught us all so much.
