
Cletus Minzer, Jr., 77, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1939 in Bloomville, OH, the son of Cletus A. and Anna Marie (Metz) Minzer.
Cletus worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Basic Refractory in Fort Seneca, OH (now called Premier Services) for thirty-three years and retired in 2000.
He was a member of the Fremont Moose Club and loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle as well as working and building them. Cletus enjoyed spending his time at the Korner Café and with his family.
Cletus is survived by his children, Jodi Henry, Fremont, OH, June Marie Minzer of California, Julie Hammer, Fremont, OH, Jamie Walker, Port Orange, FL, twin daughters, Roni and Tori Minzer both of Fremont, OH; sister, Diana Wightman, Fremont, OH; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Minzer.
Visitation: Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 3 to 5 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Memorial Service: March 12, 2016 beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ernie Robles officiating.
