Chris, your Faith was your individuality and you were never self-consciousness in regards to proclaiming this to others. Your infectious laugh and humor will be remembered until we all see and hear you again in Heaven. Just as earth will never be the same without you, Heaven will never be the same now that you are there. What God had you doing here on earth, He needed you to do even more with Him in His Eternal Kingdom. As a person said: Many people live in Faith, but you our friend lived your Faith. I am certain that you and your sister “The Sister” are creating new beginnings for us when we get there. To your family, may Chris’ earthly presence be transitioned into a presence you will come to know from God in the air you breathe and the newness of life you witness each spring. God’s Peace that surpasses all understanding be within your hearts and minds in the days ahead.

I don’t have the right words to express how truly sorry I am to hear this news. Working with him back in the mid 2000s, I remember him as a cheery, silly, warm, generous and delightful man with all the energy of a hummingbird. All my love and prayers to his friends and family. To Chris, you are well loved and will be much missed. God bless. <3

    Chris,
You brought light and joy to every room you entered. Your dedication and work ethic at the bank were unequalled. The thoughtfulness, laughter and beautiful memories you gave friends were true gifts. There wasn’t a single time when I left your office, or a lunch or a visit where I wasn’t smiling more than before my time with you. I visited you when I needed a laugh and you always delivered. I hope I returned the favor. My only complaint was the distraction of laughter in your bank office next door to mine. There were literally times I couldn’t concentrate because of it. So of course I walked next door to join in! Our worlds are all better because you were in it. Now Heaven has you and we will try to continue your example.
Here’s a message from Jeff: Happy trails until we meet again, Pardner!

    Rest In Peace my friend.

So sorry to hear about Chris. He was a wonderful person. You wouldn’t know if he had bad days because he always had a smile. Good natured…. saying that because my husband was always giving him some crap and if anyone knew Mike Andrews you would understand! We both liked him a lot
He will definitely be missed! I guess the dear Lord needed him more.

    To the Elfring Family,

It was my wonderful privilege to have known Chris beginning many years ago when he and family would visit Sister Audrey Marie at St. Ann Parish, Toledo, OH. Chris was funny and always shared his big, radiant smile. He was full of life and he shared with others.
May you family members know God’s consolation and mine. I know you will miss him. Remembering all his gifts that he shared with others can be a wonderful blessing for you. I know I have my memories, and he has been much on my mind and heart. May Chris enjoy his eternal reward. Thanks, Chris, for sharing life with us! My love and prayer for you all!
