Christina “Tina” S. Cronin Eicher, 52, of Fremont, OH passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. She was born December 6, 1965 in Fremont, the daughter of Carl R. and Elizabeth (Partee) Cronin. She was a 1984 graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School and received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood.
Tina was a devoted Catholic and drew strength and courage from her faith. Growing up she enjoyed horseback riding and camping. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and granddaughter, who helped care for her grandfather until he passed away at age 103. As a mother Tina shined, she loved her three daughters unconditionally and spent her life inspiring them with her unstoppable hope, courage, and love. Tina lived her life for her family. It was evident in her infectious smile no matter what circumstances were thrown her way. Tina waged her battle with MS for 25 years. She always remained courageous and hopeful as she tried new therapies or experienced a setback. Her love always outshined the pain she experienced. She loved being a grandma and mother. Nothing made her smile like sneaking her grandsons a treat and getting to be with her family. Her love will be felt forever by those whose lives she impacted and lived out through her family for years to come.
Tina is survived by her daughters, Brittni (Matt) Faist, Fremont, OH, Brooke Eicher, Rocky River, OH and Erika Eicher, Maumee, OH; siblings, Michael J. Cronin, Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Doug Cronin, Fremont, OH and Cathi (Tom) Laurer, Pt. Clinton, OH; sister-in-law, Karen Vargo, Fremont, OH and grandsons, Emry and Noam Faist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dennis “Cootie” Cronin.
Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH.
Please join family and friends for lunch and a toast to Tina’s life at the Fremont Yacht Club, 1900 Yacht Club Drive, Fremont, on Saturday, October 27 following mass, from 11:45 am to 5:00 pm.
