
Chris M. Bower, 56, of Fremont, OH passed away on August 22, 2015 in Fremont. He was born on September 4, 1958 in Fremont the son of Richard H. and Arline (Zilles) Bower.
Chris was a mechanic at several garages throughout the country most recently working for Ash Automotive. He was an amateur HAM Radio operator and enjoyed photography. Chris wrote a blog for the News Messenger as the Zen Wrench.
Chris is survived by his parents, Richard and Arline Bower, Fremont; siblings, Patricia (Norman) Rife, Jack (Sue) Bower, both of Clyde, OH and Thomas (Marion) Bower, Fremont; aunts, Joanne Ireland, Bradenton, FL and Jeanne Hoffman, Fremont; friend, Tony Halm, Fremont.
Visitation: Friday, August 28, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Friday, August 28, 2015; 11:00 a.m. at the funeral.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH

Dear family…I am so sorry to hear about you loss. Chris will be missed by family and friends, but he will not be forgotten by our heavenly father. We often wonder can the dead really live again. Jesus’ words found at (John 5:28,29) says there will be a resurrection. This means that Chris will be given a fresh new start with the prospect of living forever. (Psalms 37:29) I hope this will bring comfort knowing that you have an opportunity to see him again to share more wonderful times together.
