I am so sorry to hear about Cheryl’s passing. She and I worked together until her retirement from the library. She was a hard worker and did her job well.

She loved her family and talked proudly of all you often.

I am so sad and have thought of her often and will think of her often.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. You and in my thoughts.

Our prayers are with each one of you. Your Mom was a very dear and special lady. Have many memories of her from the library and her gathering at Victory Church to see her precious grand children. Our hearts and prayers surround you in the days ahead.

I am sorry for your loss and wish to extend my condolences. Death was never part of the equation that God had purposed for us. We were designed and created to live forever. He has promised to eliminate not only death, it all things that cause us any kind of pain and suffering. (Revlation 21:4) Soon the words regarding the resurrection found at John 5:28, 29 will take place and give us opportunity to welcome back our loved ones to a restored paradise earth and live forever. (Psalms 37:29) May these promises that are found in the Bible bring you a measure of hope and comfort.

What I’ll always remember about Cheryl is the wonderful twinkle in those beautiful blue eyes whenever she smiled. When I began working at the library so many years ago, poor Cheryl had the responsibility of teaching me the ropes at the circulation desk, and it must have tested her patience to the limit. She’d stand beside me at the counter and go over everything again and again until there was a glimmer of hope that I was starting to “get it.” We soon became friends and there was really nothing better than making Cheryl laugh! We got together every few years to catch up on life and talk about the things she and Don were finally able to do since she’d retired. As always, the conversation turned to her grandchildren and new photos of them were proudly shared; her deep devotion to family was obvious. I’m going to miss my friend very much.
