
Bryon D. Skeel, 68, of Green Springs, OH passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was born on October 4, 1954 to Stanley and Isabelle (Dorman) Skeel. Bryon was a 1973 graduate of Clyde High School and then went on to serve in the US Air Force. Bryon worked for Ardagh Metal Beverage in Fremont and retried after thirty-five years of service. He was a member of the Green Springs American Legion. Bryon enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching old western movies and listening to music.
Bryon is survived by his children, Aimee (Darin Aguinaga) Skeel, Warren, MI, Chris (Jaclyn) Skeel, Tiffin, OH, David (Tricia) Skeel, Clyde, OH; siblings Patricia (John) Olenik and Gary (Phyllis) Skeel, all of Florida; grandchildren, Brittany, Briana, Ashlee, Angel, Taylor, Derek, Alyssa and Alayna Skeel; great grandchildren, Skylynn and Maverick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryon M. Skeel; brothers, Denny, Doug, Larry and Dick Skeel.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 211 N. Broadway St, Green Springs, OH 44836.
Services will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023, 11:30 am at the funeral home with Military Honors.
Burial will take place at a later date at Green Springs Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in his honor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
