Matesick Bruce Resized

Bruce M. Matesick, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home on June 29, 2020.  He was born on January 25, 1947 in Clyde, OH, the son of Michael and Ruth (Meyer) Matesick. He was a 1966 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Bruce served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2) and Rifle-Sharpshooter Badge.

Bruce was an electrician at Kelsey Hayes until they closed and then retired from Green Bay Packaging. Bruce was a member of the VFW, Moose and Eagles.  He enjoyed collecting guns, model cars, photography and playing his guitar.  Bruce was a proud Marine.

Bruce is survived by his son, Chad (Darla) Matesick, Tiffin, OH; daughter, Heather Rose, Fremont, OH; siblings, Melody (Doug) Good of California and Michael Matesick, Green Springs, OH; grandchildren, Samantha Matesick, Amanda (Troy) Powell, Jac Rose, Parker Lenz, Lucas Frey and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Devon Matesick.

Private Services were held for the family.

Memorials can be made to the Walsh Park Veterans Memorial.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am, Terry’s sister, Cindy. He was in our family for such a long time. We had so many laughs together! RIP, Bruce.
