Betty L. Lindsay

Betty L. Lindsay, 79, of Vermillion, OH passed away on Monday February 28, 2022, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH.  She was born on July 23, 1942, to Donald and Pauline (Rice) Lindsay.  Betty graduated from Fremont Ross High School, Fremont, OH in 1960.  She continued her education at Bowling Green State University and graduated in 1964.  Her graduate studies work was done at Toledo State University and Wayne State University.  Betty retired from Sandusky City Schools after 30 years of service.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna Lindsay Frazier and brother-in-law Thomas Blair Frazier, both of Macomb, IL, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

There was one special cousin, Ken Johns and his wife Joan Parkhurst Johns.  Betty’s friends Richard and Phyllis Behnke and Mary Kay Huneke were very helpful to her.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2022; 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
