Betty L. Bockbrader

Betty L. Bockbrader, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She was born on August 10, 1933 in Erlin, OH to Charles W. Rose V. (Pence) Baylis. Betty married Willis W. Bockbrader on May 23, 1951 in Lancaster, OH and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2020. She was a Bus Aide for Sandusky County and then went on to work at Bethesda Care Center. Betty was a member of the Fremont Moose and Eagles. She enjoyed babysitting, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, Rose (Ken) Smith, Green Springs, OH, Barbara (William Crozier) Bockbrader, Helena, OH, Michael (Dawn) Bockbrader, Martin, OH and Dale (Norma) Bockbrader, Fremont, OH; brother, Dave (Pat) Baylis; sister-in-law, Mildred Henwood, Lancaster, OH; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Lucille G. Hammond, Dewey D. Baylis, Ethel M. Borer and grandson, Dale Bockbrader, Jr.

Betty’s wish was to have no services.
