
Bessie M. Cooper, 73, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Friday, March 11, 2022. She was born July 5, 1948 in Coffeeville, MS, the daughter of Pete and Hartence (Torrance) Clark. Bessie married Andrew Cooper, Jr. on January 30, 1971 in Grenada, MS and they were married for twenty-five years. Bessie worked in assembly production at Eaton Inoac for several years. She enjoyed watching TV, talking with friends and spending time with her family.
Bessie is survived by her children, Jonathan (Rachel) Clark, Lula (Derrie) King and Andrew Cooper III, all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Boyd (Gwen) Clark, Detroit, MI, Annie Clark and Eddie Clark both of Grenada, MS, Edward Clark, Detroit, MI; grandchildren, Demetrius Clark, Columbus, OH, Juwan Williams, Jalen Cooper and Devin Clark, all of Fremont, OH; great grandson, Damerious Clark.
She was preceded by her parents; brothers, Pete, Trusell and Russell Clark, Sarah McClain.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
