Diesenroth family, Dad and I are so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. We would often look for Bernie at mass and try to sit with him. Often after mass we’d go to Bob Evans for food and conversation. This was a weekly routine while your mom and my mom were still alive. I’ll always remember fondly the friendship they offered my parents. Our fathers shared stories of their time spent in Korea, especially Tiago. I think it did both men good to talk of the time they spent there. I grew to know and love both your Mom and Dad. Always loved the story your Mom told how they met in a bar and their 1st date was in a church!! Your Dad is now with his Jenny. He loved and missed her. Praying you find comfort in knowing they are reunited and in happy memories. With sympathy, Annette and Alfred Clinger

Uncle Bernie was the last of my living aunts and uncles and his passing brings a close to that generation. He has graduated from his life’s lessons but it is we, the next generation who pick up the mantle of being the family elders. May we incorporate what we have learned from his life into our own legacies. My deepest sympathies to all of my cousins and your families. We hold you in our hearts and prayers during this time of your loss.
