Andrew “Big Al” Thomas Smith

Andrew “Big Al” Thomas Smith, 36, of Fremont, OH passed away on August 13, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.  He was born April 13, 1986 in Fremont to Douglas and Bobbi (Peck) Smith.  Big Al was a 2004 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Big Al loved his dog, Penny and his hamster, Mr. Jingles.  He was always helping people and loved the beach.  He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He was employed by Metrotex as a delivery person.

Big Al is survived by his stepchildren, Haileigh McCoy, Briann McCoy and Kalijah Alejandro; parents, Douglas and Bobbi Smith; siblings, Haley Smith and Corey Smith all of Fremont, OH; nephew and nieces, Hunter, Payton and Alexis, maternal grandparents; Betty and Charles Peck, paternal grandparents; Richard and Donna Norris and his best friend, Josh Peck.  He also had many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
