Andres “Chito” Zuniga, Sr.
Andres “Chito” Zuniga, Sr., 80, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky. He was born on November 26, 1940 in San Benito, TX to Jorge & Petra (Lozano) Zuniga. He was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Chito married Etelvina Magana on January 16, 1978 in Woodville, OH and she survives. He worked at Atlas Industries where he retired after fifteen years of service. He attended Templo Genesaret church. He enjoyed accordion music, Spanish dances, riding his bicycle, western and action movies. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and friends. Chito was a very caring man and would do anything for anyone he knew.
Chito is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Etelvina Zuniga; children, Andres (Jeannette Gabel) Zuniga, Jr., Maria (Adam) Toney, Agustine Sandoval, all of Fremont, OH; sisters, Amelia and Nora; grandchildren, Gabriella, Andres III, Isaac, Boaz, Jeremiah, Troy, April, Angelica, Agustine III and Erica.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Christina, Felipa, Anita, Dolores, Andrea and Ismael; grandson, Job.
Private services are being held for the family.
