Alice I. Stoner, 78, of Fremont, OH, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 18, 1939 in Fremont, OH to Raymond and Sadie (Bork) Higley. Alice was a 1958 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Alice married Richard Stoner on March 12, 1966 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2017. She worked for Crescent Manufacturing for over thirty years, retiring in 2001. Alice enjoyed putting puzzles together, going to garage sales and playing scratch off tickets.
Alice is survived by her sons, Anthony Stoner and Michael Stoner; siblings, Mary, Raymond and Gene Higley, all of Fremont, OH; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Stoner and brother Gallien Higley.
Visitation: Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH.
Services: Friday, June 2, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant, Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery

So sorry to hear about Alice, we often shared many laughs at Circle K. She loved her scratch off tickets like myself. I will miss running into her there.
