Stang Karen

Karen Kay Stang, 82, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital.  She was born December 30, 1939 in Fremont to Ransom and Dora (Smith) Cunningham.  She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Karen Served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  She married Raymond Stang on July 2, 1965 and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2018.  She did clerical work at several offices over the years.  She previously worked at Walson Army Hospital and Kaplin Industries.  Karen was a VFW Life member and enjoyed reading.

Karen is survived by her son, Alan Holland, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Keith and Melissa Holland both of Pennsylvania; brother, David Cunningham; uncle, Bob Cunningham; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Stang; siblings, Richard, Jean, Danny, Gary and Keith Cunningham.

It was Karen’s wishes to have no services, but she will be placed with her husband.

Memorials can be made to the Fremont VFW, 204 Birchard Ave, Fremont, OH or Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.

    Hey cousin Allen didn’t know each other very well family wise but we still have family love for reasons that are
    Obvious that we are both related to great people including your mother and all that have pasted prior we have fond memories of them all and will for the rest ours lives and look forward to the great reunion when it’s our turn to join them forever there after love you and I know the grief of the lost of your loved ones have the fath be strong [Go trump 2024] your mom would like that
