Wilma Faye Brink, 76, of Fremont, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1937 in Argillite, KY to Samuel and Grace (McKnight) Stepp.
Faye married John E. Brink in Fremont, OH on May 29, 1954 and he preceded her on June 27, 1999. She worked for Peter Eckrich from 1968 until it closed, waitressed at Serwin’s and as a clerk for Ballville EZ Shop. Faye was a member of Grace Community Church.
Faye is survived by her children, Vernon (Jeannie) Brink, Gibsonburg, OH, Teresa (David) Elfring, Midland, MI, Luann (Albert) Longoria, Fremont, OH; siblings, Joe (Geraldine) Stepp, Gay (Donald) McCarthy, both of Argillite, KY, Helen Beiter Lancaster, OH, Darrel Stepp, Tiffin, OH, Eddie Stepp, Flat Woods, KY; grandchildren, Laura Bryant, John Brink, Holly Kidd, Kristy Witte, Kelly Decker, Bronson and Britain Wetzel; great grandchildren, Isabel, Mason and Amilia Brink, Noah Bryant, Cole and Chase Witte and her beloved dog, Skippy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Brink; brothers, Bob, Bill, Sonny Stepp; sister, Ann Brown and Janet Stepp.
Visitation: Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E, State St., Fremont, OH.
Service: Thursday, October 24, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Pinkerton officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
