Treva Jean Ehemann

Treva Jean Ehemann, 83, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Parkview Care Center. She was born March 16, 1931 in Weston, WV, the daughter of Miles and Ruth (Eberly) Hamilton. She was a graduate of Weston High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College and then received a Master’s Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University.

Treva married Kirby L. Ehemann on October 2, 1965 at Memorial United Methodist Church and he survives. Treva taught third grade at Riley Township School from 1953 to 1966. She then was a Substitute Teacher at School of Hope until 1991 when she retired.

Treva was a member of Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church where she became the Mission Chairman. She was an active member of the Fremont Community Theater and performed in “The Trip to Bountiful”, “The Curious Savage” and Octette Bridge Club”. She enjoyed visiting with her children.

Treva is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Kirby L. Ehemann, Fremont, OH; children, Kyle (Sayuri) Ehemann, Thibodaux, LA, Trenda Ehemann, Fremont, OH, Trilby (Jim) Leach, Cookeville, TN; brother-in-law, Edwin Ehemann, Jackson Center, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred and Jack Hamilton; sister, Betty Elliot.
