Tracy Allen Jones
Tracy Allen Jones, 51, of Fremont, OH passed away on March 27, 2013 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on May 10, 1961 in Fremont, OH to Paul M. Jones and Kathryn “Katie” (Grover) Smith. He attended Clyde High School and received his GED in 1997.
Tracy served in the US Army from 1979 to 1982 and received the Army Service Ribbon, Marksman (Pistol) and Driver Badge with T Bar. He was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 29 years until he retired on May 1, 2012.
Tracy was an outdoor’s man and loved hunting, fishing, boating and camping with his family and friends. He was the most loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Tracy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1997. He also loved to spend time with his boxer and beloved friend Malaki.
Tracy married Kim (Ritchart) Jones on September 28, 1984 in Fremont, OH and she survives. They raised two wonderful sons, Bryan Paul Jones (deceased) and Brandon Tracy Jones of Fremont. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nathaniel Paul Barnett and Chloe Rose Jones both of Fremont; mother and step father, Kathryn “Katie” and Ralph Smith, Clyde; siblings, Belinda (Don) Logan and Steve (Nancy) Jones both of Fremont, Suzie Webster, OR; father-in-law, Ray Ritchart, Jr., mother-in-law, Judy Reidling, grandmother, Alberta Ritchart; siblings-in-law, Sherry (Karen) Keller and Ron (Loria) Ritchart all of Fremont, Julie Aldrich, Toledo and David Ritchart, Clyde; step-sisters, Traci, Tonya and Trina all of Winter Haven, FL; many nieces, nephews and loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Paul Jones; father, Paul Jones; sister, Peggy Jones; maternal grandmother, Edith Grover; paternal grandparents, Wallace Jones and Delores Kaiser; aunt, Gladys Borowsky.
Visitation: Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday from Noon until 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Saturday, March 30, 2013, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with pastor Jody Rice officiating.
Burial: McGormley Cemetery, Fremont.
Memorials: Heartland Hospice or to the family for his monument.
