Teniell A. Mata

Teniell A. Mata, 40, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was born on October 4, 1976 in Fremont to Rex Long and Kathaline Hoffert. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Teniell married Jose Mata on June 24, 2011 and he survives. She was an STNA Nurses Aide at Bethesda Care Center. Teniell was a loving and caring person and mother. She was very selfless and willing to help anyone she could.

Teniell is survived by her husband, Jose Mata, Fremont, OH; children, Amber Hoffman of Michigan, Britney Hoffman of Tennessee, Chelsea Brown and Jeremiah Goossens both of Fremont, Christina McGowan of Bellevue; brothers, Allen Long of Florida, Tim R. Lagrou and Tyson Lagrou both of Fremont; step father, Tim Lagrou of Fremont; grandchild, Sir Fredrick Parker Ohme VI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Christina Lagrou.

Visitation: Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
