Paul M. Deck

Paul M. Deck, 84, of Green Springs, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Elmwood Healthcare Center at The Springs. He was born June 3, 1929 in Franklin Furnace, OH, the son of William and Alberta (Green) Deck.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Paul married Peggy Yates on September 1, 1951 and she preceded him in death in December, 2005. He worked at Basic, Inc. as a Painter for twenty-nine years and retired in 1984. Paul enjoyed baseball, fishing and spending time with his family.

Paul is survived by his children, Patricia (John) Johnson and Bill (Monica) Deck both of Green Springs, OH; grandchildren, Keith Moreland, Alicia Casali, Brandon, Allie and Brody Deck; great grandchildren, Victoria and Kayden Moreland; great-great granddaughter, Analeigh Sims.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Deck; Son Paul A. Deck; siblings, William and Edward Deck, Annabelle Hatfield.

There will be no services.

Burial will take place at Green Springs Cemetery at a later date.
