Mattie “Francis” Dalton

Mattie “Francis” Dalton, 91, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Countryside Continuing Care Center. She was born on August 13, 1924 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Halond and Luanne (Brian) Bohanan.

Francis married Omah D. Dalton on March 5, 1952 and he survives. She was a Homemaker and also worked at Howard Zinc Company as a Trimmer for twenty years. Francis was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her dogs and cats and spending time with her family.

Francis is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Omah D. Dalton, Fremont, OH; son, Douglas (Dori) Dalton, Fremont, OH; brother, W.E. Bohanan, Columbia, KY; grandchildren, Darcy (Bernie) Druckenmiller, Derek (Julia) Dalton, Dana (Meni) Ontiveros; great grandchildren, Kasey Druckenmiller, Olivia Dalton, Camden Dalton, Quinn Ontiveros and Lucy Ontiveros (to be born any minute); step great grandchildren, Taylor John and Makayla Druckenmiller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willard and Leo Bohanan; sisters, Anna Mae Wilson and Mildred Bohanan.

Visitation: Tuesday from 4 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Service: Wednesday, August 19, 2015 11:00 am at the funeral home with Preacher Ted Bowen officiating.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
