Marlene Ann Durnell

Marlene Ann Durnell, 77, of County Road 212, Fremont, OH, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born July 7, 1935 in Fremont, OH to Clifford C. and Luella Bell (Arnold) Stout. Marlene married Harry J. Durnell on April 14, 1985 at the First United Church of Christ and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Marlene was a homemaker where she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marlene is survived by her children, Cynthia (Charles) Bernard, Scott (Mary) Taylor, Michael (Katherine) Taylor, all of Fremont, OH; step children, Bill, Joe, Judy Durnell of California, Jenny Flood, Arizona, sister, Deanna Allen, Ishpeming, MI; grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Anthony, Melissa, Hailey, Andrew, Allison, Adam, Jamie, Jim and Grace; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry J. Durnell; two step children, Joy Durnell, Joan Hakes; sister, Mary Lou Robitski; brothers, Robert C. Stout, Gerold Stout and Clifford C. Stout, Jr.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory.

Graveside Service: Friday, December 21, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Dan Vicky Officiating. A Fellowship will follow at Church of the Nazarene, 1925 N. Fifth St.
