Marian J. Forgatsch
Marian J. Forgatsch, 86, of Fremont, OH passed away on January 17, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 12, 1928 in Vermillion, OH the daughter of Charles Daniel and Jane S. (Warren) Taylor. She graduated from Townsend Township School and received a degree from Warner’s Beauty School in Toledo, OH.
Marian married Arthur DeVanna on September 11, 1948 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1959. She then married Louis Forgatsch on April 28, 1962 and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2003.
Marian is survived by her children, Dan (Jane) DeVanna and Jan (Denny) Day both of Fremont; grandchildren, Aaron, Justin, Gwendolyn, Nelly, Shannon, Amanda, Laura and eleven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Arthur DeVanna and Louis Forgatsch; son, Charles DeVanna and sister, Carol Pero.
Visitation: Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH with a vigil at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, January 20, 2015: 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
