Madaline M. Druckenmiller Freeh, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, April 11, 2016. She was born on August 19, 1927 in Fremont, the daughter of Bernard and Lula (Schneider) Wolf. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Madaline married Donald D. Druckenmiller and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1978. She then married John “Jack” Freeh on June 28, 1980 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2010.
Madaline was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a Cook at the school cafeteria for over thirty years. She was also a member of the American Legion, Eagles and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries. Madaline enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time at the lake. She loved life, especially spending time with her family.
Madaline is survived by her children, Bill (Jeanette) Druckenmiller and Susan Davis both of Fremont, OH, Christine (Greg Hill) Haas, Clyde, OH, Bob (Lisa) Druckenmiller, Columbus, OH, Claudia (Todd McGirt) Davis and Kellie Koonce both of Fremont, OH; step children, Jack (Mary) Freeh, Columbus, OH, Debra (Bob) Eshelman and Tina (Tom) Shaffer both of Fremont, OH and Brenda (Jim) Hendricks, Toledo, OH; sister Betty Swartz, Fremont, OH; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald D. Druckenmiller and John “Jack” Freeh; grandchildren, Matt Haas, Alexa Earl and Nichole Shaffer; siblings, Billy, Jackie, Robert and Ralph Wolf and Claudia McFann.
Visitation: Thursday from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, April 15, 2016, 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH with Fr. Chris Kardzis officiating.
