Kenneth D. Sevitts
Kenneth D. Sevitts, 70, of Safety Harbor, FL and formerly of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Sun Coast Hospice in Clearwater, FL. He was born on February 9, 1944, the son of LeRoy and Ann (Meyers) Sevitts. He graduated from Old Fort High School.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy for fourteen years. Until his recent illness, he worked at Direct Express. He was an avid bowler who participated in and won many bowling tournaments across the United States. He also enjoyed golfing and watching the Tampa Bay baseball team.
Kenneth is survived by two sisters, Marcia (Jim) Reardon, Fremont, OH, Sandy Miller, Perrysburg, OH; three brothers, Larry (Susie) Sevitts, Charlotte, MI, John Sevitts and Rick Sevitts both of Leadville, CO; nieces and nephews; and his two very special friends, Mike and Ella James, Palm Harbor, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark; brother, LeRoy, Jr. (Betty) of Punta Gorda; sisters, Joan (Bob) Beard, Bowling Green, OH, Sharon Strong, Englewood, CO; one nephew, James Reardon, Jr; one niece, Brenda Sevitts, Fremont, OH; two great nephews, Andrew and Max.
There will be a Memorial Service in the spring of 2015.
The family suggests that memorials be given to the donor’s choice or to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Rosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760, (727) 523-4166.
