Isabel A. Perry

Isabel A. Perry, 87, of Janel Terrace, Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont. She was born on March 21, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Joseph I. and Marion F. (Dorsch) Miller. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School.

Isabel married Vincent J. Sorgie in November, 1942 in New York and he died in 1945. She then married Clifton V. Perry on January 15, 1948 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont and he died on December 8, 1982. Her son Joe died at the age of 40 in 1986. Her daughter-in-law Tina died later in a car accident.

Isabel and Clifton were the Owners and Operators of Perry Janitorial Service in Fremont for thirty-eight years. She also worked at Super K-Mart. Isabel enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, working on puzzles, scrapbooking, and reading mystery stories. She loved animals and especially her cat, Gigi.

Isabel was a nanny to Kyle Z. Horvath since he was one month old. They became inseparable and she became part of the Horvath family. She is survived by her special family, Kyle, Tom, Helene (Zielinski) Horvath, and Amanda Horvath, all of Fremont, OH; sister, Barbara Laterra, Venice, Florida. She is survived by many special friends including many at Janel Terrace.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Vincent J. Sorgie; second husband, Clifton V. Perry; son, Joseph Perry and daughter-in-law, Tina.

Visitation: Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

Memorial Service: Saturday, July 6, 2013, 11:00 am at the funeral home with Celebrant Tom Horvath officiating.
