Betty L. Peake, 91, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Pristine Senior Living. She was born February 22, 1925 in Burgoon, OH, the daughter of Clarence and Marie (Neighswander) Snyder.
Betty married Marshall “Marsh” Peake on December 29, 1941 in Custard, OH and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2002. She worked in retail and was also a homemaker. Betty loved to knit, crochet, arts and crafts.
Betty is survived by her children, Wanda (Larry) McQuistion, Fremont, OH; brother, Donald Snyder, Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Brian (Peggy) McQuistion, Amy (Craig) DeHart, Michael Peake; great grandchildren, Jacob McQuistion, Zoey (John) Neiling, Danielle and Tyler DeHart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marshall Peake; son, David Peake; brother, Norman Snyder and sister, Katherine Harrison.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pristine Senior Living for the wonderful care they provided to Betty.
Visitation: Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Service: Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Lydia Clowers and Veno Kuhl officiating.
Burial: Green Springs Cemetery
