Barbara K. (Edwards) Rigsby

Barbara K. Rigsby, 73 of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was born February 10, 1940 in Fremont to William and Virginia (Weiler) Edwards and was a graduate of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in Fremont. Barbara was a loving wife to Homer L. Rigsby and had worked for over 20 years as a cashier for various places most recently with BP Oil.

Barbara is survived by her son, Roger (Julie) Rigsby; daughter, Tammy (John) Hubbard; grandchildren, Jordan, Kaitlyn and Kelsey Rigsby, Jonathon, Anna and Makayleigh Hubbard; and siblings, Betty (Frank) Topel, Rose (Tom) Koester, Vicki (Buz) Balduf, Dave Edwards and Linda (Fred) Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and siblings, Yolanda Ameling, Mary Sabo, Judy Sutter, William, James and Richard Edwards.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013.

Visitation will continue after Noon on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH 43420 where the funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, OH.
